Basically my car had a ls7 with a ttrim blower on it and made around 800whp on e85, When andy had the car he made close to 900 on a ysi. I really want to be over 1000whp for no other reason besides it being cool to say I have 1000whp. I have a lot of the expensive stuff already done so that helps. I have and RPM V T56, RPM V rear end, aftermarket driveshaft and couplers and an LT1-sc clutch. I have a 450 intake and dual external pumps with a return setup. E85 sensor, coilovers, sway bars and a half cage.Hopefully this helps keeping the costs down on the build. I really need sugestions on what turbo to run and an inter cooler and radiator setup.

Engine
I just picked up and Iron 408 short block with Molnar forged Crank, Molnar power adder rods, CP -12.7cc pistons and APR mains and APR 2000 rod bolts
I have a set of cleaned up 317 heads with stock valves (Thinking of sending them over to Texas speed for a port and stainless valves)
BTR springs (bought)
Johnson Link bar lifters (bought)
C5r timing chain (still deciding)
Melling high pressure + high volume oil pump
BTR stage 4 turbo cam (Taking suggestions)
APR head studs
LS9 head gaskets or the athena head gaskets
separate oil cooler mounted in the passenger fog light area
electric water pump
holley high ram (open to ideas)
ls2 silver blade throttle body

Drivetrain
Monster triple disk (installed)
Built t56 (installed)
Built rear diff (installed)
Heavy Duty driveshaft & couplers (have not installed)
custom bore tick master cylinder (installed)
OEM slave with billet sleeve (installed)
remote bleeder (installed)
pdaft coilovers (installed)
aftermarket sway bars + end links (installed)
Willwood brakes (installed) (may try to trade fir z06 front + 15" conversion)
Tranny cooler mounted where the mufflers used to be

Fuel System
ID1300 (installed on current setup)
Walbro 450 intake (installed
Custom fuel tank tap block thing (installed)
Holley dominator 1800 (installed)
Areomotive fuel regulator (installed)
return line (installed)
OEM e85 sensor (installed)

Turbo kit
Custom turbo manifold & crossover (made)
t6 turbo 88mm + (taking suggestions)
Tial 50mm bov
turbosmart wastegate (bought)
cx intercooler and radiator set up (no idea really)
I see you are taking suggestions on turbo. These guys have everything from entry to $5,000 turbos. Amazing customer service and product. Alot of their stuff is even cut/cast in house semi local to me in Michigan. If you call them they can spec something out to your goals/budget. I have purchased a few of them so far nothing but good things to say. I have also owned various PTE and FP turbos to reference against.

I will be following this for sure.

No real manual I'm following. The guy I got the motor from gave me some info on what the clearances should be, overall they're slightly looser than stock. No experiences with LS motors but I had rebuilt some two and four-stroke golf cart engines with my grandpa as well as some Chevy and Chrysler marine engines with him as well.

Is there a reason? I would want to not mess with that unless I decide to pull the engine one day.

I don't do those curvy tracks in my car just the straight 1/4 mile ones, so it wouldn't be a huge loss plus I could sell the dry sump parts and extra room to mount things. But if you are just looking to turbo your car that already has it, there shouldn't be an issue with it.

I need to buy the timing set now. Any recommendations on timing gears and chain for 1000+ whp. Double roller? Single? I plan on running the melling HP & HV pump.

Just wanted to update everyone on what's going on. I was rebuilding the engine in my basement and we had a pipe burst and flood the basement while we were out of town. so a lot of my work is ruined. I am probably going to sell off the hot side and buy a supercharger kit and run my car for this summer. So if anyone is looking for a 1000whp+ T6 hot side, cold side piping and exhaust pipe let me know!
