I think what I am going to do is just buy a one size smaller pulley and bring it with me and anything I need to change it since it’s easy to change and when it’s on the dyno of it looks like I can go a little smaller I will change it and re dyno it. See what happens.
Either way I can’t wajt to that extra power!!!

The big thing you'll notice is the part throttle responsiveness. Just think faster and you'll be there without a whole lot of right foot input. No need for a whole lot of downshifting, unless you just want to. It will make that big cubed light a$$ed Zcar feel 500lbs lighter!

Hey guys, just wanted to give a update, Over the weekend i installed the supercharger kit, mighty mouse catch can, racetronix fuel pump harness and replaced the balancer with a power bond. Replacing the balancer and taking the steering rack out was probably the biggest pain, but its all done. Car runs great but no my clutch is slipping lol. I had a feeling it wouldn't hold, but now i know. So now i have to get a new clutch in and break it in before the dyno. I was leaning toward the ACT T1S-G01. Does any have experience with this clutch. I should be around 600 hp to the wheels and that will be all the power i will be adding to the car. Of course looking for most stock feeling clutch and drive ability since this will be my summer daily driver.
Thanks for the help
Jon

Never seen a single good thing about an ACT clutch on a vette.

Mantic, Monster, McLeoud. Plenty of good ones, not ACT though.

Thanks for the input. I am curious why you don’t like act clutch. I was recommended that clutch by a corvette guy and I have been searching this forum all afternoon and found multiple excellent reviews on that clutch and not one single negative remark on it. I’m just trying to collect all the info on it before I buy something

When they came out it was nothing but bad reviews, issues, and problems. Maybe they are better now, but there are just more proven better options.

Going to just throw this comment out there for the OP to think about. You say you are going to just stay at about 600 rwhp. If you are like most of the rest of us, you will quickly get used to your newfound hp and will want more. Just at least keep that in the back of your mind for the future....

Hey guys, I wound u buying the act clutch and installed it over the weekend. I had too many guys that had them in their corvettes that they were great clutches and at $1k for the whole kit the price was good. So far it seems ok, getting some shudder when moving from a stop but i am told it will go away once its broken in. Time will tell. In two weeks i have my dnyo appointment to get some number! cant wait to see what shows up on the graph! Thanks for all the help and input.

Just wanted to give a update on the car, I went to RPM two days ago and had the car tuned. They did a amazing job. Final numbers were 591hp and 538tq to the wheels. They pulled another 37hp and 15tq over the tune from magnuson. What a shop these guys have. Every where you looked were zr1'sm cts-v's, z06's and zl1's. Car runs great and such a blast on the street!

Nice! That’s like 50whp over a ZR1, I think. RPM certainly seem to have their **** figured out. You’re going to have some fun in that car now for sure.

The car is a beast. It is exactly what i was looking for. I drive this car pretty much as my daily driver during the summer and wanted the car to have a normal everyday car drive ability when i was to just cruise and a animal when i want to smoke the tires. And thats exactly what the car is. Being a roots style blower the low end torque in crazy, being in second gear if im around 3k rpm and just hammer it the tires will just smoke and leave marks in the road. Very impressive. In new york where i live the roads are still cold, so im sure in the summer when the roads warm up and the tires get sticky it wont spin in second like that, but its a blast. On the highway i get 25 mpg which i cool as well. Not that i do alot of highway driving but just throwing that out there too. In 3rd gear it pulls so hard its very impressive. I highly recommend this blower to anyone looking for reliable power that i received. And i also highly recommend RPM for any and all LS work and tuning. It was well worth the 3 hour car ride down there.
Thanks again everyone for all the help and recommendations along the way. It is much appreciated.
Jon
