Our radiator is a full 3" thick vs. 2 1/2" for the DeWitts. I also took 2 rows out of the top, for clearance, but added them back at the bottom so as not to reduce any cooling capacity. There's more airflow at the bottom where the two rows were added as well.

If you're going to buy a radiator, there's nothing better.
I also agree with the fans. The Spal setup flows worse than the stock one.
I haven't tried the ProSpeed but I've heard good things.

What fan setup do you recommend with a stock radiator and/or the griffin radiator you sell?

There are a lot of choices out there today. My suggestion would be to narrow your search to the ones made in the USA and epoxyfree. If you don't know, ask.

Sorry to bring this thread back to the top but im looking to pull the trigger on the prospeed fans. And my question is if anything needs to be modified in order to fit the A&A kit? Because i installed the kit last week and it was pretty tight getting the intake on and i had to trim some off the top of the stock radiator for it to fit. So im worried that ill need to chop up the $900 fans. Not sure why prospeed didnt reverse the position on the fans.

Does anyone know any tips and tricks or maybe run into the same problem? Do you think the shortened fans would work?

Thanks again,
Albert

Same fans for both kits, just different shroud, so no the shortened ones won't work.

They should go right on.

Do you have the A&A kit installed? Im just worried that the top right fan will protrude out too much that it makes contact with the blower unit and the charge piping.

ECS kit. The Top right fan is offset a bit towards the drivers side so it's not directly under the blower. Here's a few pictures to show the best I could

My ECS blower vette is currently at Prospeed for cam + meth install and I’m having them put in their fan kit. I will hopefully report back positive results. From my resesrch and their recommendation, the OEM radiator is pretty capable so it makes sense to start by increasing airflow prior to replacing radiator. That being said, there are many nice radiator options if fans don’t cut it.

There are a lot of good options here. We use the Dewitt radiators on all supercharged C5/C6 cars here and typically run the brushless fan kit if space allows or the ProSpeed fan/shroud kit as well. This is a bullet proof combo and we are dealers for all of it if you need some help with an order!
