Best way to stop wheel hop?
I took my car to the drag strip and it was a steaming pile of failure. Bad wheel hop off the line. If it's not hopping its spinning. I just installed a line lock so burnouts will be better. The Mickey ET Street 305 40 17s were at 14lbs. All suspension is stock. 750 whp '06 base model stick shift, everything but nitrous. There are plenty of suspension mods out there but what is the most effective way to stop this car from shaking itself to death? Its a streetcar, I'd like to take to the track sometimes.

Ditch the radials and get a slick would be the best thing to do. Your drivetrain will thank you.

If going with ET Streets you will want ET Street R's or other R compound like NT05R or R888R unless you want to go drag radial. The regular ET Streets simply will not hold power. I recently went full coilover double adjustable from Viking and when getting everything dialed in for street driving with soft compression and rebound I had a wonderfully smooth ride, but man oh man wheel hop if I wanted to launch or punch it past 5k rpm in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Adjusting the back coilovers fixed my issue.

Recommend going with M/T ET Drags bias-plys if you're going to launch it hard. More forgiving and great bite. You will end up spending a lot of money in the rear suspension when you may not need to. The track temp and prep will also play a part.
