Default Ti Trim Street Car

I never did a build thread on my 07Z, and after finally putting my car on flex fuel, I figured I would do one to let others know what is possible with a Ti trim. This car maintains excellent street manners, but is also well-suited for 1/2 mile and roll racing events.

Mods
CP Carrillo forged pistons (10:1)
A&A V3-Ti trim
A&A secondary drive w/8 rib (stock lower/3.47” blower)
CMS mild blower cam
ARH 1 7/8” headers
Alky Control meth injection
RPM flex fuel system
RPM Level VI TR6060
Mantic Twin clutch
Prospeed dual fans

Thanks to Ryne Cunningham for building the car and to Fran and crew at RPM for helping it make some steam.

Pump vs 52% E.

If you’re talking about the red line, I had Fran extend the rev limiter for 1/2 mile events so I’m not surprised that there’s a small dip. Still carries the power out decently without a huge decline.

Blower is definitely near its max potential although the boost curve is pretty linear.

Very nice. Almost identical power and torque numbers to my ECS Novi 1500 402 combo. Car should run really well in the half. I ran out of gear in the half like you mentioned too close to the traps to shift to 5th on a 27.4” tire.

I was at ~825/775 to the tires with the filter on and that’s how I ran on the street/track etc. I dnyoed 851, 849, and 847 on 3 Dynos in a week. I never felt comfortable running any event without the 800-825 tune on with an air filter. So my times reflect that. Given, that was 8+ years ago so I’m sure advances have been made. And we didn’t have E. It just goes to show you what these blowers can do. I’ve had 2 YSI’s and a Novi 2500. Do you see these vette guys ripping off blower 1/4 passes? Not really. In the auto’s they fly. Faster in the grandsports,Z06,ZR1 cars.

i loved my stock bottom end t-trim combo. i ran a 9.19 with that setup, full weight, cast TFS heads, in 2700 DA. that would definitely be my choice for a awesome street combo. good job!!!

Your car just flys, and always has. But his power level is perfect getting down the track with a manual. Hope all is well Albert.

Not yet. I was supposed to do the Slipstream roll racing event a few weeks ago, but it got rained out.
