Default What block to use

So I’m wanting to create a second motor that’s a budget build wanting to keep budget max at 5000$ and want the motor to hold 1000whp semi reliable. I’ve been thinking that blowing up a 5k motor is allot better than a 15k motor so I want to build one on the side. It can be iron or aluminum has to be Gen 4 can be a 5.3 or a 6.0 or what ever really. What block would you guys use? I would be finding this used to save even more money a junkyard setup or what not.

lol. It's never ending story.

Why not sit and establish your power goal / money instead of buying 2-3-4 different setup and always changing your mind?

Cheap : Aluminium 5.3 with forged internal
Semi cheap : LSX Iron block.

So put the ERL setup, put a YSI, put a Fore Twin, put a triple monster clutch, found a good tuner and enjoy it... End of story.

Will do possibly a v2 and aim for 900+ but I do want to make a second engine for fun and to use down the road how much stronger are the iron blocks vs the aluminum ones? Only thing turning me away is it’ll make about 20+ more degrees of heat with a iron block. I’ll be making YouTube videos of the build and racing it etc it’ll be good content on making a engine also.
