Safety Car
Question - what about air flow to the radiator??? Have you run this for long stretches of combined city & highway driving on a hot day? Where are the temperatures (oil and coolant) running?
Maybe there's enough flow from underneath, but I suspect this is the reason the GM plate mounts as high as it does.
Luckily we live in KS where a front plate is not required.

Guys, quick note.....
The quick release plate will NOT work if you have installed a Vararam intake as the Vararam blocks our installtion bracket.
Just wanted to give any potential Vararam customers a warning if they were thinking about purchasing.
Thanks,
Jim

Seriously, let us know if it does not arrive in the next few days. I know it takes a little longer going through the APO but it has been since the 14th

Can someone post a pic close-up from the side? I want to see how it looks when installed, and how close it gets to the car, what the back surface looks like, etc.
One concern I have is when someone backs into the car pulling out of their parking spot. What will take the impact? Will the plate backing hit the car? Will the mounting mechanism push into something inside the nose? Where does the pressure get distributed?
Thanks guys, looks good, just want to address those concerns. Some people aren't careful pulling out of spots, especially on the side of the road after they've parallel parked.

I think its the best solution on the market (but I'm a little biased!)
Give it a try and if you don't think it will take the impact when you get it, just send it back.
We offer a full money-back guarantee on all our products.
