Default FS - Z06 Dual mode NPP mufflers.. $500

Payment received...Mufflers are sold....thanks everyone for your interest!

These are the factory OEM dual mode Z06 mufflers that I planned to install in our 07 coupe...which we replaced with an 08 Z06 so I won't need them anymore.

These are being offered for sale for only $500. New NPP mufflers are about $1200 new as I recall so you can save a ton of money!! I would prefer local pickup but will ship if you pay the shipping costs. Mufflers are as new (well 1000 miles) and tips are prefect.

The mufflers came off an '07 Z06 with less than 1000 miles and have the complete inlet pipe attached....the pipes were not cut off to make the muffler removal easier as most seem to do. They bolt on to any C6Z of course.

To fit these to a regular C6 you have two options;

1. Have a good muffler shop modify the inlet pipe down to 2.5 inch to fit the stock LS2 intermediate pipe, a very simple operation for a good muffler shop as the inlet pipe necks down to 2.5 inch as it enters the muffler housing.

2. If you are installing long tube headers at the same time you simply order a Z06 3 inch X-pipe instead of the 2.5 LS2 X pipe.

To make the valve operate you can purchase the GM parts, or from a forum vendor the "NPP in a box" and you are all set. Do a search and you will find lots of threads on how to connect the system up.

I can tell you from driving an '08 with NPP and our new C6Z this exhaust is the hot setup....quiet when you want is so, and pretty sporty when the valves open! In addition you upgrade from those little 3.5 in LS2 tips to proper size 4 inch Z06/ NPP tips...looks way better to me!

Will post pictures a little later.

Please PM me if your are interested!

Thanks,

James

Thanks Joe!

BTW ....Here is one method to hook to make the butterfly valves operational without running all the vacuum lines. Other forum vendors may offer similar setups. Cost I think was $225.

This was how I had planned to do it.....there are lots of other options.

Thanks..James

Not sure, but they are pretty large...I will guess under $100.

If you buy them I will only charge the actual shipping cost.

Thanks...James

Yes, still available but have some interested parties...no money sent yet!!

I have not measured or weighed them yet, but I will guess at $120 for shipping to you. If its more I will pay it, if its less, I will refund the difference to you.

Not even sure where to find a box for them yet....

Thanks for your interest....James

Ed, thanks for your post and congrats on now being a forum sponsor, I will pass on this info to my buyer. He will be needing your kit! Somehow I missed the fact that your kit was already in production!
