This jack is ideal for C6 Corvettes and favored by the forum members. Do some searching at the forum and check out all the raves.
I'm selling this Omega jack because I have a total of 5 hydraulic jacks in my garage now, don't need them all. For low-clearance sitautions, I plan to keep my AC jack. The AC is a higher quality jack than the Omega, but it also costs almost twice as much. Most folks will not want to spend that much. Regardless, the Omega is a fine jack, better than most common jacks you'll find at your local auto store, more than adequate and represents an incredible value. It can reach where almost no other jack can reach, it gets the job done.
The Omega is in fact even lower and longer than the famed AC jack as shown above. The Omega can just about reach the front preferred lifting points of a C6 (using a cross-beam adapter) without even driving the car up on boards. It is still recommended to get the front of the car up a small bit before using any jack (so as not to bend the air dam), but the Omega surely represents the lowest, longest jack available for anywhere near its price range that comes as close as possible to handling all C6 needs with minimum effort.
I just checked around, it appears that the Omega 29023 jack costs at least $300 new when you factor in shipping. Some vendors have it for in the $235 area, but then they add about $75 for shipping. Other vendors offer free shipping but ask $335 for the jack.
Here are examples of popular tool vendors:
Tooltopia - $335 + free shipping
Northern Tool - $259.99 + $74.71 shipping ($334.70)
I bought my Omega brand new only last year and used it maybe three times. It's in dead mint brand new condition. I had properly oiled up all hinge points the moment I took it out of the box. It's like new. No problems, no wear, works fine.
I feel a fair price for my very lightly used Omega is $190 cash.

I have this jack, and everything said above is correct. I can jack the front (on my lowered C6) without driving up on ramps using it, but doing so bends the cheap, plastic front air dam. To put the car on four jack stands, I first raise the front and put it on stands and then raise the rear. It take about 15 minutes to get it into the air. Can't imagine doing it without this jack. The only thing better would be to have a lift in the garage.
