Not sure if it fits an M6, the only markings on the pipe are the ones I took pics of, and that was on the clamp.
As for louder, I noticed a slight increase, not much, I believe it gives better flow than the stock H pipe.

I used it with my stock headers and removed it when I installed my long tubes that came with hi flow cats and a mid pipe.
