Default NIB LS2/LS3/LS7 CNC Ported Throttle Body TB

I have for sale (3) new-in-box CNC ported throttle bodies to fit LS2, LS3, and LS7 applications (LS1/6 with LS2 TB conversion).

The CNC ported throttle body was developed in partnership with a forum sponsor and these 3 throttle bodies were part of the final production run before the program was put on hold.

The 3-axis CNC milling was utilized to give 100% consistent results on every ported throttle body, to ensure that drivability was not impacted while maximizing the power and torque gains from the upgrade. Following the CNC milling process the throttle bodies are hand finished and polished for the best final performance and appearance.

Price with a LS2/LS7 core is $110, without a core $290. Shipping is included in the lower 48, but I will ship to Canada and Hawaii, but additional costs may be incurred.

Paypal and certified check are accepted, please PM for details

Thanks for the interest, and let me know if you have any questions.

Jeff

This is news to me if it is true.

I have (3) LS2 cores, and I now I have (1) unported LS3 throttle body as well. If someone is interested in the LS3 I can throw it on the CNC mill and have it done in about a 2-week turn around.

Thanks for the interest

$290 shipped, although I have a brand new LS3 core here, but I need to have the CNC program run on it, so there would be some time delay (~2 weeks). Shoot me a PM if you are interested

I have an 06 sc with stock MAF, TB, and intake. What power gains can I expect going with this TB? Would I need/want to complement it with new MAF and FAST 102?

Interested. Thanks.

I just posted saying I would take it, but then noticed something, so I deleted it. I have a question first. Then, if its what I think it is, then ill take it.

In your ported picture, it shows a fairly large air gap between the blade and opening. That can casue quite a difficulty tuning, if its to big.

My question is, is how much more of a gap than factory? Do you have a comparison picture showing that air gap on the stock one?

If it is close to the factory gap,. then Ill take it. If its too excessive, Ill have to pass.

Thank you for your time.

Jennifer, great question.

As I mentioned in the post, we worked with a forum sponsor to develop the CNC program and were very conscious of the idle characteristics of the ported throttle body, which are sensitive to the air gap surrounding the blade from the factory.

We developed a total of 9 revisions to the milling program through the R&D process, with most of the changes occurring at the lower end of the barrel, where the throttle is open at low throttle blade positions (low part-throttle cruising).

So to answer the question directly, we have removed zero material at the 0% blade position, to maintain a proper idle without tuning, and carefully developed over 9 iterations what we believe to be a great compromise between performance and drive-ability for part-throttle response.

The true advantage of a CNC ported throttle body is that all of this R&D effort may be repeated to an extremely tight tolerance for production going forward, which is a level of consistency that is impossible to match with hand porting.

Thanks for the question, and shoot me a PM if you would like to purchase the TB!

Happy 4th, Jeff

I believe you are correct, but if anyone is interested in a LS3 throttle body I do have a stock core sitting on the shelf that we could put on the CNC mill upon request.

I only have LS2 throttle bodies completed at this time, but given the order and some lead time we could have the LS3 milled on demand.

Thanks for the interest
