Here's the deal, 2011 GM has started offering the headlights in different colors(silver/black, etc.)

I am working on a cost effective solution to change/modify the headlight housings to your desired color, currently the C6 HL's require the lens to be removed to alter the color, about $6-800

Now, $800 to modify your perfectly good lens(most garaged C6's) seems hard to justify; the lens needs to be destroyed upon removal to access the HL bezel/background to alter color

Of course we will most likely WANT the silver/black/cyber grey and maybe white HL's here, but the options are endless

I will start a list in the next post of color/location/year for anyone looking to swap/TRADE their HL's

You, the Corvette Forum member will arrange shipping and removal/install of HL's(I can help if local to CT/FL or via phone)

That's funny I was just thinking about starting a thread like this. I'd be interested in swapping for a black set. I don't want to tear into mine though.

I have a mint set of millennium yellow lights that would look killer on a black or cyber grey car. I'm in northern VA.

I have a set of VY head lights for sell due to changing out. asking 600 obo. I think they'd look pretty darn cool on a black vette. You don't see that very often.

I'm also open to trades of sorts.

The way it would look, black with yellow, it looks very aftermarket ricer. It's definitely not a "from the factory" kind of look. Thought there's a reason I bought the stealth bulbs.. OH right, to get rid of the egg yolk look in the headlights

I have a set of Machine Silver Lights from an 07 Z with only 700 miles on them. They are perfect!

You seriously need to gather some intel on this, the lenses can be taken off without destroying them. Has been done for many years already

Open up, paint the bezel and close. Done!
