Just ordered. Since the Race editions are having problems, I just ordered the regular. If you have the red display, I would prefer that. If not, no big deal. Can't wait to try it out.

Did my install last night. The mechanical part went pretty easily. Just takes some time to get the alignment the way you want....no biggie. The problem I had was with the MirrorTap cable. I guess I thought that since I was ordering a C6 package, the instructions would specifically refer to the C6 not a generic auto dimming mirror. They basically asked you to determine the +12v and ground using a volt meter. It turns out that the 3rd pic on the page shows the correct wiring if you make that assumption after being told you need to figure out the proper wiring with a meter. I went online and found http://www.blendmount.com/installdoc...20CORVETTE.pdf which takes the same picture and specifically labels the +12v and ground. Once I had confidence I was using the correct wires, everything wrapped up well. So no real complaint here, it's a good product. Just don't be thrown off by the generic MirrorTap instructions.

how low does it sit under the rear view mirror? i am using the suction cups at the moment but am on the second set of them since the first set isnt suctioning anymore...just curious to know if it sits snug against the mirror or low...id prefer snug so it doesnt obstruct too much...any pictures of that?

In your bundle, does it support Escort Live? In looking at the Escort website it seems a special cable is needed and the BlendMount Mirror Tap is not the right cable.
