What other adapters (costs) would be needed along with the 9990 to keep stock bose and on-star happy and keep steering wheel control working.

Have you seen and used the 9990hd vs. the Pioneer z140hf or whatever it's called?
I'm slowly working on putting a deck in my car, but I'm in the air on which one. I'm not so worried about the nav as it's a weekend car and I don't go too far too often where I'm not familiar. The biggest importance to me is the iPod interface and functionality. I had an f90bt in my last car and liked it a lot. I've used a z130bt and liked streaming pandora and iPod audio from my iPhone, or I plugged my iPod in and used that, and I loved the interface of the Pioneer, but I've heard good things about the Kenwoods as well.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks

Yes
I saw both first hand at CES
The ipod interface is nice on the Pioneer.
But
To me the KEnwood is alot nicer unit.
The NAV is better
The speed of the new Kenwoods are alot faster
The sound quality is much better

The Z140 will be a nice unit. Myself I just like KEnwood better is all

I will have the z140 units soon as well and once I get shipping info ont hem will be posting the info up for orders from Pioneer as well

Any major improvements on the 9990HD vs the 9980HD (what I have currently) beside the real buttons vs touch sensitive on the 9980HD?

3x faster...The 9980HD is so slow at doing POI searches I end up using my Android phone its so frustrating, it's like a lite version of Garmin maps. Any planned factory rebates like last years $300 for the 9980HD's?

I am sure there will be something for rebates from Garmin. They started in May or June last last if I recall
Do not know what amounts might be but I will be sure to let everyone know when I get the info

A real pleasure dealing with Dennis. Honest, responsive and helpful. One of the best vendors I have dealt with.
