WTB: Aux Engine Oil Tank
I'm looking for the aux oil tank used on the late model dry sump oil systems. I had to cut down the stock tank to fit in a resto mod application and need an aux tank to bring back the oil volume to the original capacity. I realize it's a long shot but you don't know if you don't ask.

I had to do the same. I shortened mine for a custom build. Just use this technique http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...gory_Code=C336
I also have a complete 2010 dry sump tank (with aux tank) for sale too. It's cleaned with new seals installed. The side mounted aux tank can be removed for cleaning. There is a boss on the side of the tank. By removing a couple of clips and the large strap the aux tank can be removed from the side. I was going to move this over to the newly shortened oil tank but changed my mind. These tanks are too expensive to cut up. Asking $750 shipped for it with new nylon vacuum line (2010 style) and oil transfer tubes.

Thanks for the responses. I had looked into the Lingenfelter style solution but thought the aux tank was a better cosmetic choice. I had priced the tank from GM and they are pretty proud of their parts. I'll probable just end up fabricating my own, I just thought I could possibly save myself some extra work.

I have the Lingenfelter add on it was a direct bolt in but I am a 2006. Like the guy said above would need to cap the 3rd line in little tank there. The other brackets look the same.
