Default FS: LPE (Lingenfelter) CNC Ported LS7 Heads, GM TI Int and Rev SS Ex Valves Sand Roll

For Sale is a set of freshly ported LS7 Heads from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering or LPE. These heads were CNC Ported actual LS7 Castings, these are not the rough cast GMPP LSX-LS7 Heads, these were actual take off LS7 CNC heads.

I paid $1095 for the CNC port work, plus an additional $400 for the sand roll finishing option for the ports and the chambers. It really makes a difference in the finished product. All of the exhaust valve guides were replaced, intake guides were checked and found to be perfect. These heads are sold complete with the factory GM Titanium Intake Valves and I have upgraded the Exhaust Valves from the troublesome 2pc factory units to a 1pc SS Rev Valve just like Richard at WCCH and LPE recommends.

I have 2 sets of springs available and will ship them fully assembled and ready to go. One option is the 8401 Gold Dual Spring Set from Patriot Performance. This kit is set up for .650 lift and is used by many cam and engine builders on the forum. The other option is a Comp Cams 26921-Kit Spring Kit which is also good to .650 lift, but is a bit more expensive than the Patriot Springs.

I paid $800ea for the assembled factory LS7 heads ($1600 Pair), $1095 in CNC Port Work, $400 in sand roll finishing work, $200 in valve guide inspecting and replacement on the exhaust guides and $300 for the REV Exhaust Valves. Just in the heads, port work and valves I have well over $3600 in these heads with shipping. The 8401 spring kit from Patriot is around $265 new, or the Comp Cams 26921-Kit is around $649 new. So here is what I can do, no need to wait to take off your heads, ship them to LPE, wait 2 weeks then re-install them, you can just buy these and sell your stock heads!!

I would sell these heads for $2,995 with the Comp Cams 26921-Kit or $2,795 with the 8401 Spring Kit.

Below is what you will find on Lingenfelter's web site about these heads:

Lingenfelter offers our CNC ported version of the LS7 aluminum cylinder head used on the 2006-2012 C6 Corvette ZO6 that is the same as what is used in our 630 horsepower & 660 horsepower C6 ZO6 packages.

The port and chambers are carefully designed to provide the best combination of high flow capabilities and improved port velocity. This combination provides excellent horsepower gains while maintaining a strong torque curve. Lingenfelter LS7 cylinder heads are CNC ported in house to insure that exact tolerances are maintained.

Following porting each head receives: Precision 3 angle valve job to maximize flow & provide extended life, CC checking chamber size for correct compression, surfacing to insure deck flatness, professional assembly, setting spring height & checking all tolerances.

Base price package includes porting your complete supplied cylinder heads
Stock GM LS7 2.205 diameter titanium intake valves.

These flow numbers are tested with correctly sized bore adapter and no exhaust pipe.

LPE CNC Ported LS7 Flow Specs
Intake valve lift / Exhaust valve lift
.200 - 174 cfm / .200 - 120 cfm
.300 - 256 cfm / .300 - 164 cfm
.400 - 312 cfm / .400 - 200 cfm
.500 - 352 cfm / .500 - 222 cfm
.600 - 384 cfm / .600 - 234 cfm
.650 - 395 cfm / .650 - 239 cfm
.690 - 396 cfm / .690 - 242 cfm

According to Tim at LPE these heads were milled to 11.5 : 1. You can always mill them some more if you want higher compression.

Here are a few pictures of them.

I have just over 90 pictures hosted on Photo Bucket. Here is the link if you want to view them in more detail.

I received a correction from a Forum Member - The option is for "Hand Smoothing" not "Sand Rolling" from LPE. Thanks for pointing that out!

Keep those PM's comming!! Thanks for the interest and questions guys!!

In speaking with Comp Cams, the 921's at their recommended install height of 1.778", are good for .675 lift not .650. Just thought it would help the sale...

If these were around a month ago I would have been a buyer

I have seen them advertised both ways with Comp Cams, so I thought I would promote the lower number. I will call them tomorrow to be 100% sure! Thanks for the help!

Brand New as completed by LPE. They have not been installed. The cylinder head castings had a little over 11K miles on them when I purchased them before the work was completed. Exhaust guides were inspected and replaced.

Just got off the phone with the Comp Cams Tech line and the guy I spoke with said the 921 Springs are good to a little over 660 lift. He said if I wanted something for 675 that I should run the 926 Spring. I will keep them as posted good to 650 lift!
