For those of you that want a special Christmas present, I have to offer a brand new in the box Kenwood DNX7190HD. This is NOT a refurbished unit. It was never installed.
Features of the 7190 include:
Back in January I debated wither I wanted a 7190 or 9990. I ended up ordering from Double-D a 7190 that was delivered to me in March because it was available before the 9990. I installed a 7190 and from that time I wished I had got the 9990 instead.
Fast forward to Thanksgiving. The 7190 I had installed died - would not boot. Although Dennis would have swapped it out for me (good vendor!) but he did not have any stock left for either the 7190 or 9990. So I decided this was the perfect time to order a 9990 instead of having my dash torn apart waiting for weeks for a repair.
I sent the defective 7190 back to Kenwood for repair and after a few weeks they sent me word that they had no spare parts and so could not repair mine and they would send me a new unit. That is what I am selling here.
So this is a NIB unit, never installed, new harnesses, new remote, new packaging. NOT REFURBISHED like what you see for sale on Fleabay.
I see a lot of the vendors are sold out of the Kenwood DNX series since the new 2013 units will be out in a few months.
This unit comes with NEW Kenwood wiring harness, remote, GPS antenna, books and hardware -everything that came from Kenwood as packaged for retail.
But you will need an appropriate harness to mate it depending on how your Vette is equipped. So you might need a steering wheel controller module, Bose module, Onstar module, Metra GM harness, Metra dash mount, IPOD cable, XM module, etc. Or you could wait for Dennis to offer the maestro idatalink unit for GM data-bus integration. None of these items are included. I recommend you get a plug and play harness from Dennis @ Double-D.

So if you are pre-ordering a 2013 unit - keep this in mind!

Correct. The invoice I have is dated near the end of January when I pre-ordered and paid for the unit. But I did not receive the unit until March. So I got ripped off for almost two months of the warranty waiting for the unit become available.
So if you are pre-ordering a 2013 unit - keep this in mind!
