Why would anyone pay to have it installed? It is seriously super easy to install. The hardest part of the installation is hiding the wires when you are done.

Although easy to install, I do question its ability to work with the Speed Lingerie bra. The location you would typically mount the sensor might be obscured by the mesh covering the front grill.

With that said, I love my curb alert and is definitely a worthy purchase.

No. We've sold a few hundred and I've never heard this.

How would you install it with a battery that's relocated to the trunk?

Simply tap into the fuse box cover under the hood.

Default Curb Alert update

I received my new Curb Alert from RPI two days ago and installed on my C7 yesterday and I am very satisfied! The enclosed instructions were for a general installation and seemed adequate but the Southern Car Parts installation video (http://www.southerncarparts.com/corv...rt-p-5715.html) for the C7 was spot on! The only very minor difficulty was where to put the sensors and speaker - every thing else was a breeze! I ended up installing them in the upper passenger's foot area - upside down to hopefully avoid any feet hitting them and also ensuring cable jack access and access to speaker tone volume switch. Speaker volume is perfect on low - one of the two settings. BTW once you apply the units - they are totally affixed - no going back - so make sure you are sure about your installation locations prior to peeling off the sticky tape coverings - they stick very well and strong - which is what you want. Took my time and double checked everything to insure a clean install and took about one hour. Thanks RPI - and when you order, don't forget to ask for the 10% Corvette Forum member discount - bonus!
