Also, just to clarify what is going on with these, whether an interested party buys them from me or not: Pfadt has raised the price on these from $550 to $650, and the vendors will follow. If you want these shocks and don't want to make an offer to buy them new from me, I recommend you buy them now from the vendor of your choice.

I really don't see any advantage to these over the FE4's, F55's or the GS shocks. Theyre probably a great upgrade from FE1,2 or 3's though. I was looking for a set of ZO6 FE4 rears but i'm thinking of full replacements.
The GS, ZO6 & ZR1 share the same front shock but vary on the rears, unless the car has the F55 option. The GS rear is considered a better shock than the ZO6's FE4 and it has a different GM part number.
What are your thoughts?

These are actually FE4 shocks that have been revalved by Pfadt after extensive track time and input with Johnny O'Connell, so they are definitely an improvement vs OEM. I believe they had the cooperation of GM and their shock supplier to build these in the factory FE4 shock body, so apparently Pfadt isn't the only company that thinks these are worth making.
If you do some Googling, you can very quickly find a guy who didn't realize they were revalved OEM pieces and was disappointed at this realization when he opened the box and compared them to the OEM shocks on his C6Z06, but once he installed them he left glowing reviews and dismissed all the skepticism he had initially begun the thread with
I will still be installing the JOC shocks on my Z06 as I have heard nothing but good things about them, but I need to sell this set as soon as I can to soften the blow of this upcoming rebuild.
