how much is a 6 spd trans from a c6 selling for? round about?

just curious so if it ever came to it.

There are several choices, what is the specific year and model?

05 is different 08 and up are different 08 Z51 will fit an 06 and 07. Zo6 had different spline count. o6, 07 Z06 are T56, others T6060, etc.

05 trans and diffs are really cheap, newer ones are worth more.

well I don't know that much about the c6 trans. all I know is I have a 99 frc and am thinking about putting in a c6 tranny. will all those trannys fit into a c5 or is there modification that is needed?

but whats the difference in an 05 tranny compared to the 08? and is the 05 the same as the c5 6sp?

I have a trans out of my 05 6spd. It is a direct fit in c5's. Will sell for $600 plus shipping

Only 05 will accept an 05 unless you change the transmission case extender.

Tim. Why comment on this if you don't know first hand? An 05 is a direct bolt on into a c5. How I know you ask? Because I have my 99 trans if my 05. Any year after 05 yes you need a adapter plate to fit the trans in the differential.
