does this fit z? and is the inside guaranteed not to scratch black paint? Very sensitive to this...

Yes it will fit the Z06

Car covers don't scratch - putting a cover on a car that is not clean scratches.

No one in their right mind would guarantee against that because it
is user error, not the cover...

You don't want a waterproof cover. Waterproof covers trap moisture
under the cover and cause damage to the paint.

You want a breathable cover that will let water evaporate and dry.

About an inch and a half from the ground, covers the bottom
of the rim
