Question, for people looking to take care of the head issue, are the heads you are selling all that is required to "upgrade" to heads that won't "blow up"? or are there many more parts involved that need to be changed as well?
Basically if i ever decide to "fix" the head issue i would want to keep everything completely stock. With that in mind what parts and what modification to those parts would that actually require?
Thanks

The bronze guides take care of the machining issue which is the root of the problem. These heads are sold bare so you will need your choice of valves.
Katech's recommendation for valves is Katech titanium intake valves with molybdenum-coated stems and either OEM exhaust valves or Katech titanium exhaust valves with molybdenum-coated stems. Some people will use OEM intake valves but we found the chrome nitride coating is too harsh on the bronze. Some tumble polish to smooth them, but it's not to our standards. Some people like to use solid stainless steel exhaust valves because the failed exhaust valves has been blamed on the valves themselves, but it is actually due to the excessive valve guide wear from improper machining.
