Default Tires

Where is everyone getting the non run flat Michelins or Pirelli's from in 285/30/19 and 335/25/20 sizes from? Continental's are on back order. I may consider any Michelins run flat take offs.

Good luck with the search.

As far as I know, M only makes those sizes in the ZPs, not non-run-flats.

They do make PSS non-ZPs in 275/30-19 and 325/25-20 which have virtually the same amount of tread on the pavement as the sizes you asked about. Tire Rack has those sizes in stock with the rears in limited supply.

Thanks for the reply, but wouldn't those sizes appear to look stretched especially on Cup wheels?

I am interested in performance and don't worry too much about looks. Bot hof the tires I listed are designed to work on your 10" and 12" wide rims. I did check the specs and the 275 is about 1" narrower in tread than the 285. The 325 has .1" more tread than the 335. Without testing them, that would imply to me that the car will understeer more with the 275/325 non-ZPs than the stock ZP sizes.

One of the problems with Corvette 19/20" rims and to a lesser extent 18/19" rims is our tire model choice is quite limited.

Is there a reason you want to run the run-flats, other than being OE? You will get a smoother/quieter ride from non run-flats. That was one of the best mods I did - trashed those tires.

OP wanted non-ZPs, but the problem is limited model choices and availability for the 19/20" rims. Invos are available, but those are just cruising tires with good ride and wear but not much grip compared with the OEM ZPs

Ahh.. I re-read that that missed where he said he wanted the non run-flats. My bad!

I ran the Nitto's on my previous car but they were just too soft. I ran through the rears in a little less than only 10k miles. They have a nice tread pattern, but the longevity is just too low.
