I have a real one. They are $4000 complete. They are called clones for a reason. They of course appear to be Vetronix. Used real ones start at about $1000.
Do a search on the Saab forums. Those members buy them a lot due to their brand no longer in business. They seem to be hit and miss. Some seem to last a couple of years before failing while others report no issues.

Once original patents have expired there is nothing that keeps an original OEM supplier from reselling technology (provided no other non-ecompete agreement is in place of course).
