I am selling the RPM Level 5 TR6060 transmission from my 2009 Z06. The transmission grinds going into second (2nd) gear. To avoid downtime, I bought another TR6060 to replace this unit that was in my car and am going to sell this one outright now that it's been removed.

I spoke with Jeremy at RPM and he gave me a quote of $964 to rebuild this transmission. That includes a new 2nd gear, 1-2 synchronizer assembly, seals, gaskets, guide pins, and labor. You could also use this opportunity to upgrade it to a Level 6 unit by adding the carbon rings ($550).

The RPM Level 5 TR6060 is listed at $2995 plus $1800 core ($4795 total).

Selling for $1600 (no core required). Rebuild it and you can have a fresh RPM Level 5 transmission for roughly $2200 less than a new one. Or, upgrade to a Level 6 and save the same amount. Either way, it's a great deal for someone and you don't have to deal with the downtime associated with sending your current transmission in.
