BES CNC ported ls3 heads
I have a pair of 821 casting ls3 heads. They have had the intake and exhaust runners cnc ported as well as the combustion chambers at BES racing engines. The heads retain the factory valves (hollow stem intake) and have a new btr platinum spring package installed. They have had a clean up mill and competition valve job and are fresh since having work done. I am asking 1800 out right or 1300 plus a set of good complete ls3 core heads. Texts are best for me 5132957614 or calls 6 to 10 in evenings

Yeah they are ready to run just assembled this week. You can find the flow sheet on bes website I believe they flow around 365 at .700 in the intake

The rpm range can be swayed by cam shaft and intake manifold design. These heads have a large port volume and intake valve so gains could be more on high rpm and large cube combinations

ah. I am probably going with a moderate cam like the katech torquer. Will likely stay with the stock intake for the time being, since it doesn't seem like an aftermarket intake will provide much, if anything, below 4500 rpm.

That cam should be good on the low end for sure. These heads have also had the chambers CNC'd which will lower the compression on a stock shortblock they will work great on a dedicated build or one where someone wants to increase quench and add some boost. If you are really interested I can have them milled back to factory cc for my asking price.

Yeah I dont mind shipping it cost about 60. I have a guy who says he wants them but I haven't heard from him in a week so I will contact him now and if he doesn't want them or doesn't get back to me I will let you no

I wonder if milling these enough to bump compression to 11.5 or so would bring them more in line with a setup that would be ideal for a ~520whp NA cam setup. The heads look great, I just feel like (in my limited knowledge of this stuff) that they may be a little big for my application.

Actually the 821 heads sold I have another pair of 5364 castings that will be done in a week or 2. I will NOT be cncing the chambers and can mill some for no added charge just CNC Intake and exhaust ports on these.

stock ls3 376ci. I will be running a medium sized cam, something like a katech torquer or the spin cam, want to bump compression to 11.5ish, depending on the grand total, I may or may not do ported intake and tb.
