So am I the first to post? More pics and vids to come. Headlamps are kind of a pain to change in these things. Sheesh. Here’s a couple pics and a vid from last night.
Hmmm looks good! My lights should be here Tuesday. I've already taken my old lights out. Not a big deal, although I didn't take my bumper cover off. Looking forward to seeing this upgrade.
Regarding shipping:
UPS missed the initial pickup but picked up all submitted orders yesterday (Thursday). Most numbers show movement and updated delivery dates while a couple don't show any updates yet. Regarding the couple not showing updates yet, they should be updated any time. I'm told by the distributor that UPS has possession of all orders (other than some submitted yesterday).
Regarding installation:
Installation is 100% plug & play - there is no wire cutting, splicing, soldering, etc. necessary. Everything plugs right into something to make install as easy as it can be.
Attached is the Morimoto installation guide regarding the "harness". It only consists of replacing an accessory fuse with the provided fuse tap.
Yup, mine are on the way and thanks for clarifying the fuse tap. Not a problem and would've thought there'd be some retrofitting.

Agreed, there is definitely no reason to pull the bumper.

I would say yes because you have to take the screws out that hold the plastic fender liner to the bumper and some of the pulltabs in order to pull the liner back far enough to get in there and get to the three nuts that hold the headlamp on. I took the bumper off just to make it easier to do the wiring. underneath the headlights.

The wheels don't need to come off, but you do have to peel back the wheel well liner. Just turn the wheels to full stop opposite of the side you are working on.
There are a couple of videos out there that show how to do it without removing the bumper.
One thing some of the videos forget to mention is that there is a t15 screw under where the bumper connects to the fender. It holds the front of the fender down. You have to peel back the corner of the bumper after you pop it off of the plastic piece that holds it to the fender.

The first side took me about an hour because I'd never pulled the headlights before. The second side took about 20 minutes.
I'd say if you have an extra set of hands to lift the fender when you pull the headlight housing it would go a bit faster.
