Default Wanted: 2007 Key Fobs

Here's a second update: I would still like to buy a second backup. If you have an extra 2005-2007 key fob to sell, please advise. Thanks.

Here's an update. I couldn't re-program my key fobs/remotes because both the 2007 Owner's Manual and the Shop Manual (the huge 3-volume set) are wrong. Both of them state that the key fob should be inserted into the glove compartment slot early in the process. That's plain wrong. They should be inserted at the end of the process. I learned this from posts on Corvette Forum and on You-Tube links from CF posts. They both work now.

Does anyone have working 2007 key fobs for sale? Or a way to revive ones that aren't working? I already installed fresh batteries and tried the slot in the glove compartment processes. Either respond to this thread or email me at [email protected]. Thanks.
Wayne

I recommend you buy a 2008 fob off ebay and program it. Looks nicer and will work just fine. Programming instructions are on this site.

I'm not sure either. If anyone knows, please advise. Meanwhile, I'll try to find out. Thanks.

When I try on Ebay, the adv's say that the 2008-13 key fobs are incompatible with my 2007. Are you sure that a 2008-13 fob will work?
