Default QuickJack (5000lb) at CostCo

I am not selling these, but if someone is looking for one this seems like a decent price for a new one! Thought I'd share.

Can you leave this on the garage floor and park over it when not in use?

Looks like my price after tax and surcharge and 1% back I would pay $1223. This is tempting.
I would rather have the one that lifts to like 36 inches though. That way when it falls I feel nothing rather than laying there for 3 hours until I die.

Anyone here have a short 2 post lift in their garage? I plan on pouring a concrete slab on the side of my house and installing a legit lift.

I don't have one, yet. So I cannot answer that. Sorry Riveroger. Someone else may chime in though!

You can email Quickjack and ask for a discount and they will send you a discount code for $100.00 off. You can not drive over them. But you can slide them under the car when parked. The only thing left in the way is the small hydraulic unit.

My 06 vert is not lowered and I can drive over the top of my 5000SLX without any issue...

YMMV.

My 2011 GS with its F55 suspension is too low to drive over mine. I simply stack mine off to the side and out of the way. What I did do is add some heavy duty felt strips underneath to make it easier to slide it.
Love mine.........

Anyone have experience with the 5k version lifting a crew cab silverado 1500? Google search puts them a hair over 5000lbs (~5200). I know it's not a c6 but if it could lift my c6z AND my truck, well then I might grab me one...

Push them together under the center of the car, then you car park over them. You CAN'T drive over them with your wheels.

They are rated 5k lifting weight but this is very conservative (see their utube vids) I suspect you'd be fine lifting a 5200lb truck.
They do make a 7000lb model for a few bucks more.

Anyone have a video of this jack in motion using it on your Corvette?

There are several on YouTube.

It was very easy to assemble (and repair), slides easily under my C6Z, and stores compactly. Super slick! I should have bought one before replacing the fuel level sensor earlier this year. Thanks for the tip!
