I could care less about the drone, my wife would greatly appreciate the house not shaking when I start it and idle for 5min and pull out the garage.

It is a FACT that the Akra's are the lightest catback for our cars. They sound great open/closed. There is "some" drone @ or around 2500 rpm.. Nothing overbearing.
I have ran B&B fusions, Corsa and I prefer the Akra's over all of them. that's coming from a guy who have ran a few different systems. NOT just an opinion.
Regarding w/o tips... that would be a tough one... As a comparison, I paid $1700 for my Akra exhaust. Sold my Fusions for $1200 so I have only $500 in these. Money well spent imo.

and there it is.... The "hate".. Have you owned the Akra's? Have you had them on your car? Or are you just spouting off an opinion because you "heard" it on the internet?

With the many systems I've tried Corsa is the only system that actually moves the sound to the rear of the vehicle which helps reduce drone. On my hci s/c setup Corsa drone is in between OEM open and closed. 1,800-2,000rpm becomes a place of pleasure not annoyance. And it's still louder at idle and wot vs oem.
