I've got no doubt that I'll get them eventually. The headlights were worth the wait. I'm sure these will be too.
I have no problem waiting. Appreciate the group buy. I survived with stock taillights for almost 10 years - somehow I'll find the strength to carry on for awhile longer.
Another update is necessary, we are VERY SORRY but there is yet another 1 week delay, but this is the last one, we are sure of it!!!
It turns out the harnesses are in fact ready to ship, but due to intense work load they couldn't put them in a box and ship them (rolleyes) and this isn't anyone's fault other than a slow communication issue with the person we're working with failing to inform us that while the harnesses were in fact ready, the couldn't get them out in time. Once the Chinese New Year celebrations are over and they return back to work on Feb 11th, the harnesses will ship to us via 2 day service so by end of next week, everyone should have tracking and/or arrival of all the parts. It's been a very hard journey but we're almost there.

On another note we've been hard at work on other projects - for the headlights in particular. We just discovered a trick (which due to intense competition, we will not reveal how we did it) to getting the headlights painted. With apologies to our existing painted customers, we are NOW at this time able to completely open and paint the internals of your headlights at a reduced cost from before AND with MUCH quicker turn around.
The only variable on the cost will be the paint cost.
So here's how it breaks down:
Opening the lights, $75 - used to be $150
Disassembly of the lights, $50 -
Paint Service - $100-350 <-- this depends on the type of paint.

For example, we have a client that is getting his done now in Carlisle Metallic - it's a pretty expensive color as it turns out - but other colors like Artic White and non-metallic will be less expensive.
So if you had Artic White - your paint/work cost on top of the headlight cost would be $225
If you had metallic - like Carlisle, it will be $375 or thereabouts.
Now if there are say 20 of you that all have the same color, and we can buy the paint in bulk, we will be able to get the price down to $150-175 to have it painted for you guys.

We know the tails are in route and on the water and expect to get them through TRS hands as soon as they arrive. As soon as we have any new information we will relay it here immediately. You WILL GET YOUR TAILS. Will it be worth the wait, we absolutely think so!!
A few of the members of my family started a pool to bet on when these tails would arrive.. last I checked it was up to $320 and climbing each week.. we’re having a lot of fun with the situation.. hopefully they arrive soon or I’m gonna have to put another 20 in the pot to stay in the game lol
