SOLD

I have a pair of 2013 C6 Z06 NPP with maybe 3,000 miles collecting dust.

I would sell them $500 plus shipping.

Last guy didn't want to pay the $120 for shipping. But it's the size of the box that is required to pack them in, not necessarily the weight at that size box.

SOLD

To ALL interested................

My 2012 Grand Sport NPP Mufflers have the little perforation holes inside the chrome tips.
These same mufflers are 2 1/2" over the axle and 2 1/2" entering the Muffer Case

Z06 NPP muffler are 3" over the axle and NECK DOWN to 2 1/2"entering
the Muffler Case........

So what is the difference between Grand Sport NPP mufflers and Z06 NPPMufflers???

Cant find my Z06 muffler pics................

You said it yourself the only difference is the larger diameter over axle pipe on the 2011-2013 oem Z06 system (which is the same that's on all ZR1's). I wouldn't consider the bottleneck into the can as a major power robber. For example, the full 3" straight through corsa system gained only 4rwhp vs a 2011 oem Z06. 2012-2013 Z06 and ZR1 come with extra cats in the midpipe. Swapping to a catless midpipe on these model years restores power from earlier models. Keep in mind 2012-2013 midpipes do not fit other years.

Hello I want, You write as youve done your homework or have personal experience................
In my above post I neglected to add that I recently bought 1/7/8" American Racing Headers
along their 3" Catted Mid Pipe (mid pipe is necked down to 2 1/2" where it connects to
my OE 2 1/2" over axle pipes/NPP mufflers).

What do dyno test results show with this set up.....thru my OE NPP mufflers
2012 Grand Sport Stock Eng , Stock Air Cleaner

And what do you know about using a Z06 Air Bridge and Z06 air cleaner Element
versus the Blue Attack Element

My Vette is 2012 Grand Sport Stock Eng, Stock Air Cleaner, A6 trans

I would say you'd gain 20-50rwhp with headers and a tune. More snap crackle pop from that system too.

2011 Z06 mufflers should also be on your list. Same item as 2012-2013 Z06 and all ZR1 axlebacks

Good info here, I didn't realize that the Z06 and ZR1 pipes necked down to 2.5" entering the muffler..I thought they were 3" all the way in. . Does that really offer that much flow difference over necking down to 2.5" before the over the axle pipe? I've got a 3" Xpipe and headers that I'm waiting for a good set of 3" NPP mufflers but maybe I should just put a reducer in and keep my 2.5" NPP mufflers I have now?

Aftermarket 3" axle back mufflers provide little to no gain in horsepower. If your lucky 5+15rwhp depending on mods. Don't buy an axle back exhaust for power buy it for the sound. GM did their homework
