I had one of these on my lq4 I think. How was it compared to stock?

Headers
I was running the kooks 1-7/8”-2” headers and had a ton of space. Also, keep in mind that this starter is adjustable, meaning you can clock it.
Starter is a beast compared to stock. I purchased it because I was running 13.2 compression and it gets so hot in the summer where I live.

2018 C6 of Year Finalist
Did you have to loosen or remove the header to install or remove it?

2023 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified
Whoever buys this please let us know how you like it. The soft start with the oem starter when the ls7 is hot really is an issue

I have one. This starter has been on my car for over a year. LSX 427 13:1 compression. Fires right up every time.

What size and brand headers are you running? With this starter.

2” Kooks long tubes. The rotation of this starter is a game changer. It really helps the fit.
