I installed the Diablo tune into my car last night. After some reading I realized this was the 93 octane tune. I can't get 93 octane at the pump here in the high plains. I was under the impression I would be asked to select a 87, 91, or 93 octane tune while installing the tune.

Where do I go to select the 91 octane tune?

I was told the C6 tunes were only 93 octane. I have a Z06 and we only have 91 octane. No detonation yet. Come summer we''ll see. If it does detonate the knock sensor will retard timing. You can live monitor that sensor while driving.

Hey guys, the reason we did not make a 91 and a 93 tune for this application is that the cars did not respond to any additional timing in the tunes. Therefore, the use of 91 or 93 octane is fine, just as it was in the stock tune.

Depending on where you are the highest octane you can get maybe only 91. It is here, but at 6,000 altitude it is enough.
