I was smiling the whole way home after attending the Caravan at Bowling Green. I had my Killer Bee replaced with a Vortex Air Rammer. Mid range power increase is unbelievable!!! Installation was simple and the fit and finish is excellent. The 12 horsepower difference (no tuning) was the icing on the cake.

Welcome to the Breathless World of True State of the Art High Quality Ram Induction.
I am one of those pleased customers referred to. BPP installed the Vortex V2/Tune on my 2007 Z06 in BG. The first drive, I noticed an increase in the initial throttle response and the car reached redline too fast for me as I tripped the rev limiter a couple of times (an easy human adjustment). Although the HP #'s are there, I took the car to the Beech Bend Raceway to see the real #,s. I am a beginner, and previously only had about a dozen or so passes at our local 1/8 mi. track.
Here are the comparisons:

Beech Bend, BG, KY
R/T .186
60' 2.075.......before BPP V2- 1.974 (better track prep and driver errors)
330' 5.357
1/8 7.912......before BPP V2- 7.988 *(apples 2 apples-with the same 60', this would have been around .2 faster)
*MPH 98.26....before BPP V2- 93.02*over 5 mph gain! Ernie, Is this a result of the HP produced while up to speed?
1000' 10.087
1/4 11.917...........*see above gains-it's obvious that before BPP V2, I would have been well up into the 12's.
MPH 122.80
Please note that the "before BPP V2" runs were made on a cool spring evening and the BG runs were made in the middle of the day. The "before BPP V2" 1/8 mi. track also had much better track prep. BG is not known for prepping track well. Had fun and better final #s in spite of it. I know.....Still MUCH room for improvement. Especially the launch!
Thanks to all on the BPP Crew! Installation professional. The service has been great. Finish and fit wonderful. Ernie and Scott has always been there to talk to me and sacrifice their valuable time. This means a lot!

Ernie how do the intake systems for the LS3 respond if no tune is present. I dont want to tune the car due to warranty issues, but wouldnt mind a nice CAI. How are IATs around town etc?

which unit do I need for the LS3

There are no issues without a tune, you can just make even more power with the tune and the box. IATs are usually down by about 20 to 40 degrees.

Give me a call for more info.
