Default Question about best iPad app obd2

I spent some time searching but didn't find what I was looking for, sorry if this is a redundant post.

I'm looking for advice on the best app for iPad, iPhone. Not sure if these can be run via Bluetooth or whether you have to plug into the obd2 port?

I want to record engine data for later review, would like to scan and reset engine codes, and record accelaration and other performance data.

I'm running completely stock and don't want to effect my extended warranty but I do plan to modify and tune after it expires. Therefore I would like to buy an app that would hold multiple tunes and allow me to experiment while retaining prior revisions as well as the stock program.

I looked at dash command and a few others but felt I'd rather ask for real world opinions from the boards.

I've got an 08 Z06 with <4000 miles and it's primarily a Sunday driver on the street.

Thx in advance for any comments.

I bouht one from innovative it seems pretty cool I did use it to pull codes and clear them. It has a wide band option I monitored iat and fuel trims which by e way I don't understand yet. Has a lot of other things you can monitor like spark etc. One thing I haven't figured out is can it record I am pretty sure it does, just haven't had time to look at it

That's pretty slick

I ended going with the go point cable and so far just have the free golink app, but I see that works with dash command for about $40

Can you load alternate tunes with dash command or s essentially for readout + CEL clearing ?
