I've had my car back now for about 2 weeks and put on about 650 miles on the new motor... 95% of the driving has been around town not on the throughways.... & I'm only getting 12 mpg ???

Its a 403" stroker, Cartek 3X cam, (choppy idle) but runs fine with ported and polished 243 heads, Vararam CAI, Kooks long tube Headers, FAST 102 ported intake, a 2800 stall converter, and 3.15 rear gears its an (A4) car..

I runs like a raped ape, it will spin the tires (MT Drag Radials) at any speed under 45 mph on clean dry roads... I plan on trying it at E Town tomorrow to see what kind of time & mph it will run ..

With the old motor 364" ci and a stock cam, ported stock LS2 intake and 2800 converter it ran 11.59 @ 118 mph and would get 26 mpg on the highway..

I have no idea what kind of mileage I'll get with the new motor on the highway...kinda hoping for 20 - 22 mpg as I have to drive 200 miles (round trip) when I race at E Town..
