Diablosport Trinity T1000...
When looking at my brand new T1000 it says it has 1r13 firmware. I have a 2013 Corvette GS. Can I go with this firmware or do I need the 1r13p (GM CAN Gas) firmware ?
When I first fired up the T1000 it seemed to upload a few new firmware, are they already on the unit or do I need to install them with DSDownloader ?

The 1000 , I don't have it in front of me so these might not be exact but I think I pressed tune , then it gave me the choices , I picked 93 tune , it then asked if I wanted to modify tune , I said no, then it asked me if I wanted to tune the tcm, I picked yes , I chose firm , clicked on the green ok checkmark , then it backed up both the ecm and the TCM it then loaded the ecm tune and then the tcm tune , several times during the upload it will ask u to cycle your key and confirm , when it's done it will return to the home page ...
The change in shift firmness I felt right away , the tune , I had to put a few miles on it but I can now definitely feel the change

1r13p is newer but most updates are just to add support for newer calibrations, you should be good to go and see the Diablo (93) tune and 91 tunes in the performance menu.
Thanks

I'm only seeing a 91 octane tune and no transmission options.
Edited to add: Now there are trans options for the 91 tune which were not there in the beginning. Still no 93 tune. Weird...

It will update , mine took a few hours , I got tired of waiting so I started the update and walked away ....
Plug it in tonight , start the update and walk away, I guarantee in the am it will be on the latest firmware
But if u have the 93 tune showing for your car there is no need to update

When trying to update it error's out, see pic above.
I also didn't think the Diablo Tune was the 93 tune because it speaks of improved gas mileage, WTF ???
Glad it's figured out thanX again

Again, really no need to update.
You are fighting with the updater software trying to auto update, you can jst load thelatest version of DSDownloader here:

I was just wondering on those 93 octane tunes. I drive a EU-spec Z06 in The Netherlands, we have 98 octane and 102 octane available overhere. But.... I do not know if the EU-spec cars already have another software in the car that makes use of the higher octane overhere? In other words; when I buy the Trinity and load the 93 octane tune, do I up the power or am I downgrading it??

I really can't say for sure but I highly doubt that GM made a special tune for the Netherlands.
