Default Z06 - p0300

So my Z06 started throwing a P0300 code recently. See this post for full background:

My question for this forum - do tuners normally adjust the "sensitivity" of the ECM detecting cylinder misfires after aftermarket cam installs?

Thanks.

The shop said they already adjusted the ECM for the code (didn't remove it, just changed the settings at which the ECM detects a misfire).

I swapped my MSD wires back to OEM. I cleared the code and went on a similar drive as the last time that triggered the CEL. It didn't come on. I'll keep doing a process of elimination. I'm guessing it could be (or have been) a faulty wire, degrading spark plug, etc.

Thanks.

Yes on a cammed vehicle. I start by adding to the misfire tables but you still want them working enough that if your are having misfire cycles your scanner will pick it up. It's also important to step up a scanner dedicated to misfires to cut down on problem solving time.
