Ls3 c6 flex fuel tuning
How many of you guys are running /tuned for flex fuel? I recently started running blended flex fuel currently e45 and have noticed subpar correction from the pcm. I have posted up on hp tuners and had limited input. I know a few of you diy guys are running e85 and self tuning...not looking for a free tune as you car runs great on 93. Thanks

Post log/tune
What are you wanting it to do that it isn't doing?

This forum doesn't allow me to post files with any real size(times out and popop adds on pc) I posted the tune and log on hp tuners forum and have gotten some good advice. I was waiting for you reply on hp tuners because I know you run flex fuel.
Now how are you tuning for higher boost with e85. Boost enrichment or alcohol pe?

Mine doesn't have an alcohol PE table unfortunately (E40) so that part won't change on the fly for me
I use both the RPM and boost based PE tables though, you can make either one work fine on centri setups especially. On turbo setups where you can build quite a lot of boost at lower RPM's then that's when I think the boost PE table is especially nice
I'll try to check out your thread tonight or tomorrow--had a death in the family so haven't been on the forums as much the last week or two

Run speed density and flex fuel. Zero issues with car adjusting. What is your exact issue?
Not "adjusting" for boost or ethanol content? E content is straight forward, just copy the stoich tables. Adjust for boost just means your tune is off, and you need to continue to work on it.

It's just the idle afr that changed the car runs fine. I just wanted to see if I missed something but the pcm is correcting for ethanol. I think it's less pcm issue and more a fine tuning issue. My wideband is showing a leaner afr at idle on ethanol but I think its just a reading issues due to the gauge not knowing the fuel is blended. The car runs great and boy does it like timing on e.

The gauge is just reading lambda and multiplying it x 14.7 no matter what fuel you're running
I still don't understand why it would be leaner at idle.. fuel trims should fix it back to stoich if in closed loop, which if I remember correctly from HPT forum it is

Like sch said, wideband always reads lamda, and at idle that is what the car should be targeting. On 91, or E98 my car always is hovering around 1 lamda. If it is not, your tuning is off or fuel trims don't have enough correction. Or you have the car stuck in open loop so it can't adjust and your tune is off.

That has nothing to do with flex fuel but yes a GM ECU has boost enrichment PE that can be used, and timing is based off airflow so it just different parts of the map. Thats just normal tuning, nothing to do with flex fuel.
Flex fuel is stricly changing fueling/timing based on ethanol content. Changed fueling/timing based of boost is either BE or just basic SD/Maf tuning.
