Default o2 sensor codes ..opinions please---- FIXED

the engine light came on last night...05 c6 long tube headers
have been on since i bought it

tech 2 says

pd0030 heater ontrol circuit bnk 1
pd0134 ho2s circuit insufficients activity banks 1 sensor 1
pg0135 heater performance bank 1 sensor 1

i know there are other things that can cause these codes
i checked fuse number 6, its good
im thinking the O2 sensor has died..but would like yalls input before i just buy another one..im going to replace them both..

i havent looked under the car yet for burned wired or melted wires next to the header
i cleared the codes and they came back immediately on startup... there other codes for the airbags which the light on the dash comes up...only in cold weather then goes back out if i restart.

i looked at 02 activity... the base MV or .435 or so is present at both 02 circuits, sensor bank 2 sensor fluctuates quite a bit when i play with throttle say .34 to 768 or so... bank one fluctuates very little and just kinda sits at 684 or so

ive looked at all threads with the upper codes ...
since its not a blown fuse the fuse....
there is no short...
the readings from the O2 screen between the two sensors are radically different
the voltage on o21 does not respond well
o2 sensor 2 bank 1 is working right
the problem is isolated to sensor 1 bank 1

either the connector has backed out at the sensor or the sensor is bad...
i will check the connector... if good order an ac delco 02 sensor
and report back

Swap the sensors side to side and see if the problem moves.

Yep.

Honestly I'd probably just replace the sensors to be sure they aren't the issue.

If you have a failed heater in the sensor, it's toast anyhow. Upstream sensors should show a plenty of activity. If one is pretty steady (bad) and the other is healthy (good), safe to say the sensor is bad (taking into account the wiring, heater circuit, etc is good as you stated earlier).

Are there cats on the car?
