Default Which o2 codes to disable after headers install

Hi guys,

I have installed kooks headers, off road x pipe.

My car now has CEL indicated, which i asume is because of the rear o2 hasent been disabled.

Im a little confused in regards to which of the below codes i should disable to get rid of rear o2 sensors:

P0137 HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0138 HO2S Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0140 HO2S Circuit Insufficiency Activity Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0141 HO2S Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0157 HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2
P0158 HO2S Circuit High Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2
P0160 HO2S Circuit Insufficiency Activity Bank 2 Sensor 2
P0161 HO2S Heater Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2
P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency below threshold Bank 1
P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency below threshold Bank 2

Thanks in advance

I had a couple of CEL codes (lean fuel) after LT header install, as I recall, though we didn't remove any sensors - my headers came with wire extensions to allow for the relocated sensor position. Once these were reset, I haven't seen them again.

Good luck!

LG Motorsports Super Pro LT Headers in my base 2008. Way more fun than I should have!

Yeah - I should have read more carefully - I was more paying attention to a hockey game.

I'm afraid I'm of no help on that, since I'm not a fan of turning off codes, but rather solve what the code is complaining about.

My bad.

Yep , but in this case you can't solve , just like yours , you have to turn off the rear O2 sensors because they are to far downstream to sense and send the correct signal to the ECM . their only purpose to check on the efficiency of the cats, so turning them off in the tune is really no biggie ....

Glad to see that you got your headers installed and are enjoying the new found power !

Yeah - did the WOT runs this week, got the tune from that and running 93 octane fuel. Going to run a hundred miles or so, then head to the dyno. One of the cool parts - literally, is that IATs are within a couple degrees of ambient. Won't make a difference on the dyno, but great on the road, or track.
