Anyone know amp load of OEM/typical efi fuel pump?
I'm looking at voltage boosters and they are all rated at different amp capacity vs volts and cant seem to find any specs on the 3 major companies offering voltage boosters. The ratings of the boosters arent available but also wondering what kind of amps an EFI fuel pump requires.
Amps increase as load increases so lets say at 60PSI.
We may want to run tandem pumps too and wonder if we need 2 separate boosters?...either way wondering if anyone knows what kind of draw a fuel pump requires at about 60 PSI @12 or 13V
I am told as voltage is increased draw decreases...a good thing even though I dont understand it.
Thanks

I was a GM tech. The amp draw was not in the manual. An engineer from Chevrolet gave us this info. High psi pumps (60) were 6-8 amps if I'm remembering it correctly. Been retired 8 years & it seems the memory is fading. LOL!

the kenne bell bap is rated:"15-20 amps (maximum peak 40 amps)". a bit sketchy. fuse is 30 amps.
assuming this is the input side, 15 amps surely is a bit low.
