Default Lock out 5th&6th in sport mode?

I have been playing with tables to prevent my a6 from going into 5th & 6th when pulled back into sport mode. Any ideas? I maxed out up shift table with no luck..

RPM doesn't really have any effect on these a6s but it won't hurt to set the shift rpm higher than your rev limiter in your case. All you should have to do is set shift up speeds for 5th and 6th to something unreasonably high in part throttle and wot upshift and downshift to make this happen.

Any chance you want to share the tune or some screenshots of your shift tables?

Did you make sure to do that for the correct pattern? I'd also recommend trying something lower than max, but higher than would be reasonable for a 4th-5th shift, something like 200 and 199 then for 5th-6th do 318 317.

You need to make sure the corresponding tables in the Safety Shift section are in sync too.

I helped somebody last year with this issue, in that he kept on trying to raise the 5th and 6th gear shift points but it continued shifting earlier than he wanted. After adjusting the Safety Shift tables for 5th and 6th it shifted properly.

Now granted, he wasn't trying to prevent it from shifting into 5th at all but I'm pretty sure if you max out those tables as well it'll do what you want it to.

When i maxed them out it would stay in 4th until i got completely off the accelerator. I try to get data log/video if that would help. I haven't adjusted the safety tables. Would i need to look at D2 5th and 6th??
