Default Firm up shifts

I have a 2011 GS and I'm wanting to firm up the shifts on my A6 and remove some of the TQ management. I'm running HP tuners. Is there any way of getting rid of the delayed shift when using the paddles?

firm up shifts - yes
remove torque mngt. - yes
remove delay in paddle shifts - no (and the delay is still quicker then manual shifting)

No need to completely remove TQ mgmt.
Some delay has been removed from my paddles.
Have trans tweaked to automatically upshift at programmed shift points when using paddles. You can still use paddles shift at any time.

I have no idea lol. I had the tune done by Shane Hinds. The delay is less, not eliminated.

Perhaps you could ask your tuner exactly how he did this and how he sets up automatic shift points while you are using the paddles at the same time. And report back with the specifics.

i think the best way to get rid of delay on paddle shifting is to mess with the upshift/downshift times for tutd. Im a newish tuner so maybe someone will say im wrong, but ive messed with them and it has given better or worse reactions.

As far as I know there are NO separate shift time tables for the TUTD shifting vs the normal shifting There are some shift patterns that are unknown of exactly what they do
Of course we know what the Normal shift pattern does But using EFILVE there is NO description of what "pattern 1" or what "pattern 2" is used for --I have made the trans shift firmer by lowering the "normal" shift time tables however it seems to have ;ittle effect on shift times when paddle shifting---
