Default 2011 GS - Surge And Stalling At Low Speed Stop

Hey guys I have a cammed 2011 grand sport that I just bought. Car has a cam, throttle body, and CAI on it. I have been having problems driving it around town since I got it. I bought it from a personal friend and he replaced the battery after getting it retuned before he delivered it to me ( not sure if this matters).

I have kept a log of when the car dies or surges. Sometimes it'll happen when the car has been running for awhile or when just starting up. Below is the log I have if you all have any suggestions on what it may be please let me know!

Tuesday - day I got the car
drove around for an hour car died on a slight turn going 20-30 mph applying brakes
(Parked car restart fired right back up and was fine)
later,
Noticed that RPM would almost hit 0 then jump way back up around 1500 -2000 then would idle fine

Later that night -
drove it on interstate ,stopped in parking lot then turned car off
headed back and was coming to a stop sign (car kills)

Wednesday
Decided to see if it happened when gear selector was in S instead of D
Came out of driveway (downwards slant) drove to end of street came to stop sign - died
drove to next stop sign car died

On smaller Highway - check engine light appeared- turned car on and off multiple times still CEL
then went to auto zone after making a stop to check codes - P0700
CEL went away after turning car back on

later went to drive thru

put car in neutral and CEL was thrown again

Restarted car a few times CEL went away next day

Thursday
Noticed at low speed on very slight incline turning steering wheel caused surging (dropping to near 0 rpm then revving to 1500-2000)

Does the car have the stock converter in it? Do you know what cam?

The log didn't attach it seems.

Idle problems like you describe with cammed cars typically means the idle tuning and airflow is not correct. It could be a bad sensor as well. The P0700 code is a transmission module code that could be a solenoid issue, or it possibly could be a result of the idle issues.

My suggestion would be to talk to the buddy you bought the car from and see if he can arrange to have the tuner he used take a look at the car again.
