Default C6 gauge display went haywire

Was driving my 2006 C6 convertible today when the gauges went haywire. Fuel showed empty when in fact I had 1/2 tank, oil pressure showed zero. Radio display went blank. Windows would not go up. Shut car off and when I tried to start it I got the no fobs present message. Even when I put the fob in the slot inside of the glove box. Put new battery in the fob and still nothing. Pulled battery out of car and had it checked at 2 auto stores and it checked out fine. After I put it back in the car, it would start and everything seemed normal. On the way to the shop it started acting up again. At the shop it was fine and they have not been able to find any problems. Can anyone here offer some insight? tks mike

My 07 Vert had a similar problem. It also threw a bunch of codes. It was a loose electrical connection under the dash. Haven't had any problem since it was fixed.
