Default DSX ECM Tuning Upgrade 06-09 C6z?

I have a max effort NA set up. TSP stage 4 cam, ported MSD, NW 102, ported heads... and my tuner is recommending I upgrade my ecm to this one https://dsxtuning.com/collections/tu...nt=30980907595
I just wanted to know if anyone else is running this? DSX told me this ecm is really for boosted cars but that I would still benefit from it. My tuner and I were street tuning the car last night and we maxed out the MAF sensor at an early RPM and had to start on VE to continue. Can anyone point me in the right direciton? Thanks!

You maxed out your MAF NA? Doesn't sound right, there are plenty of boosted cars running a MAF. What air intake are you running?

thatís what I thought. Itís an airaid and my tuner pointed out that the maf is placed right in front of the throttle body which seems to be very poor placement. Maybe this is the issue? Car came with the airaid when I bought it, thinking I might benefit from something like a halltech?

I doubt the maf placement is the issue, Iíd want to see a log showing the hertz of the maf. Does the car have bigger injectors?

yes it does, I have a set of fuel clinic injectors 850cc. Are you wondering whatís the max hertz the maf hit?

ya what was the hertz? If the tune wasnít setup for the injectors and they just adjusted the maf curve to adjust fuel trims that could be the problem. Itís like a 4063 limit or something like that

I did ask him if he set the tune up for the new injectors and he said he did use the data sheet that came with the injectors to set up the injectors. We hit 11k hertz on the maf but we maxed out the airflow limit to 512g/s

need to enter the injector flow rate correctly, with 850s you will have to scale. 1/2 injector flow rate, double stoich, half ivt terms. Then redo maf curve

tuner says he did all of this. Any other clues why the airflow maxes out at 512? Also my tuner he doesn't do shortcuts and only does full hybrid VE/MAF calibrations with closed loop functioning including LTFTs

its all based off your maf curve thatís how it calculates airflow. I bet your injector data is off causing the need for higher maf numbers

I donít know if you saw this but my tuner says he doesn't do shortcuts and only does full hybrid VE/MAF calibrations with closed loop functioning including LTFTs lol

fwiw, a hybrid tune is VE under your set dynamic airflow rpm and maf above that. No NA Z06 will max out the MAF. You are the one asking for help, Iím telling you how airflow numbers can be changed. Take it or leave it. Post your tune and a log. Why did you go to 850s on a NA car?

you understand that depending on how the injector data is entered it will change that reading as well. There are many shops out there that sell and tune heads cam packages that make 600-640hp and donít have maf issues. Your car is not an exception, you just choose not to accept the fact that the tune isnít scaled properly for the injectors. Prove me wrong and post your tune file
