Diablo intune i3 Logs- LTFT no data
Hi guys,
sorry if this has been covered I’ve been searching for a couple hours with no luck.
Im trying to get logs for a custom tune even though the LTFT bank 1 and bank 2 are added to the PID list no data is captured.
I have the canned 93 octane performance tune loaded. I’ve put a few thousand miles on it and the car was at full operating temp during the logs.
Any thoughts?
Car is an 07 Auto only mods are the tune and z06 mufflers.

There is no need to add to PID list in the tool for a custom tune ... just log the data, all pics are logged and and then send the log to Lew
So I am assuming you must be talking about you can't see LT ST fuel trims in the viewer ... am I correct?
Send me your log dcasole at Comcast.net

yes, the long term fuel trim parameters need to be added, because one of the previous diablosport tool updates removed them from the logging parameters for some reason, so they're not automatically selected...
so you need to add the LTFTB1 and LTFTB2 PID's to the logging...
When you go into the data logging on the tool, select ADD PID's...
Then select the Fuel Trims submenu/section...
Scroll down towards the bottom of the list, and you need to select and add LONGFT1 and LONGFT2...
then go to the Misfire submenu, and should find the Knock Retard parameter to select/add... may be listed as KnkRet
Then exit back out to save the PID's to the parameter list.. then you need to get me a new steady driving log.

The short term fuel trims are rarely used in tuning The LTFT's are-----We make small corrections to the LTFT trims by making adjustments to your MAF table So while data logging I would reccomend showing the data as LTFT and the parameters as CYN AIR and MAF table in lbs-----Then you can precisely add or subtract fuel during P/T
Ideally you would want your LTFT trims to be "0" or slightly negative
Any positive fuel trim will be added to your WOT fueling as well as a lean safety However if you have a negative fuel trim when going to PE or WOT the trims lock on "0" the ECM will never subtract fuel at WOT again as a lean safety
But if you have like a positive LTFT "just before going to WOT that % will be added to your comanded fueling at PE or WOT making it pig rich If you are asking for a 12.5 AFR during PE and you have a 10% positive fuel trim "JBWOT" you will end up with a PE fueling of 11.25 PIG RICH !!!!

Please start with spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure and then 06MonteSS will get back to you about the product that he sells and tunes.

And so does Lew and Lew knows what to adjust and when to adjust it so I really did not think he needed to see this lol
The question the OP had was that his tool was not logging the parameters that Lew needs to tune the car so I looked at the file for him and while I saw most of the PID's they all were not there
Lews response let us know that a recent update to the tool unchecked some of the PID's which is good to know as I am about to send Lew a file for a tune

I do appreciate the feedback, Dave and Lew got me all squared away. I’m logging and viewing everything I need now.
Thanks gang!
