Maybe a stupid question, but I'm going to be getting a tune through diablew soon and have a Vitesse throttle controller that I have never installed. I was curious how many of you still ended up installing one AFTER a tune and if you still see a lot of benefit. I was already informed to at least wait until AFTER to install it if I still think I need it.

My car came tuned when I bought it and I installed the Vitesse controller after. Massive difference. I run it on either 4 or 5. (0-9 range)

I don't know the correct answer. But it seems to me the tune would take care of the throttle response so no need to have the Vitesse throttle controller. Again I'm no expert.

In brief, the Vitesse can alter one setting in your Engine Control Module. A tune can alter thousands of settings including that one. Take your choice.

But, to be fair, you can't actually adjust the pedal response on the C6 in a tune the way you can on a C7.

True. Should have said that the 10+ things that should be changed; torque mngt, etc. will give you the same result and much more. And it will be way better if he has an automatic. You know that but he doesn't.

All good info. I do realize the tune make a huge difference and I may not even need the controller. Just figured I'd get some input from those with experience. Wasn't sure if I should waste time installing it after tune or not.
I'm very anxious to he it turned, just need to find the time (already paid lol like a month or two ago)

And yes, A6 auto.
